About Me
Having grown up in the SF Bay Area and earned my BA degree from Stanford, I went to Boston for graduate school and practiced psychotherapy there for over 25 years, before moving back to San Francisco. As a clinical psychologist, I have extensive experience providing caring and compassionate psychotherapy services to college students and adults of all ages.
I help people find their best path, whether it be through managing the symptoms of emotional distress (such as anxiety and depression), increasing interpersonal effectiveness, or negotiating major life transitions such as career decisions, parenting, separations, loss and other challenges.

My Approach:

My style is collaborative and I use an integrated approach, combining traditional psychodynamic / exploratory therapy with cognitive-behavioral (thought focussed) and mindfulness techniques.
I also use EMDR techniques when indicated to help alleviate distressing memories.
